Absent


Clock In

When an employee clocks into work, the Company’s online system shall provide the applicable status:

  • ON TIME - Clock In before the start of shift and/ or before the grace period (if any) ends

  • TARDY - Clock In within the first four (4) hours after the shift has started

  • ABSENT (1ST HALF and TARDY) - Clock In beyond the first four (4) hours after the shift has started will be tagged as Tardy. The first four (4) hours after the shift has started will be tagged as Absent - 1st Half.


Clock In during 2nd Half of the Day

Clocking in within the two (2) hours remaining of the Work Shift shall constitute as "AWOL".


Clock Out

When an employee clocks out of work, the Company’s online system shall provide the applicable status:

  • SHIFT ENDED - Clock out on or beyond the end of shift will be tagged as Shift Ended

  • UNDERTIME - Clock out before the expected end of shift will tag the talent as Undertime

  • ABSENT (2ND HALF and Undertime) - Clock out within the first four (4) hours after the shift has started will be tagged as Undertime. The last four (4) hours before the shift ends will be tagged as Absent - 2nd Half.


Unauthorized Undertime

Failure to complete a shift, without prior approval from the Department Head, six (6) times or accumulation of at least 60 minutes of UNDERTIME (whichever comes first) within the 11th of the current month to the 10th of the following month, shall constitute an infraction/offense of UNDERTIME.


Failure to Clock In or Clock Out

When the employee reports to work but fails to Clock In or Clock Out, the Company’s online system shall tag the employee as "Absent" and can lead to disciplinary action.

Employee is expected to amend her/his DTR to reflect the actual Clock In / Out time for the day within twenty-four (24) hours upon return to work in the succeeding Work Shift. Failure to file the amendment within the prescribed period will not provide the necessary evidentiary proof of approval and the Company’s online system shall constitute as"AWOL"


COMPLIANCE: Failure to Clock In

When the employee reports to work but fails to Clock In, the employee shall be tagged as "Absent" and can lead to disciplinary action.
Employee is expected to amend her/his DTR to record the actual Clock In time for the day within twenty-four (24) hours upon return to work in the succeeding Assigned Work Shift. Failure to amend the DTR shall constitute as "AWOL"

Absent Related Offenses


COMPLIANCE: Failure to Clock Out

When the employee leaves work but fails to Clock Out, the employee shall be tagged as "Absent" and can lead to disciplinary action.
Employee is expected to amend her/his DTR to record the actual Clock Out time for the day within twenty-four (24) hours upon return to work in the succeeding Assigned Work Shift. Failure to amend the DTR shall constitute as "AWOL".

COMPLIANCE: Failure to report to work

Required to work on Holiday, Rest Day or Approved SIL. Shall constitute as AWOL.

  • Infraction- 3


COMPLIANCE: Incurring AWOL

Incurring AWOL is considered as a grave offense. The following sanctions shall apply:

  • Instances- 3

  • Period - calendar year

  • Infraction- 3


COMPLIANCE: Leaves without Post-approval

Failure to file appropriate Emergency / Sick Leave within twenty-four (24) hours upon return may lead to disciplinary action and be tagged as AWOL.

  • Infraction - 2


COMPLIANCE: Leaves without Pre-approval

Failure to file appropriate Vacation Leave / Time Off In Lieu prior to not reporting work may lead to disciplinary action and be tagged as AWOL
